FROM THE SUFFERINGS OF LIFE I GREW STRONGER

A giant poem, from the soul, about the pain, the tears, the battles, and the strength of a heart that never gave up.

I was not born strong, I was not born with a heart of stone, I was not born knowing how to face pain, nor knowing how to smile when my soul was screaming inside.

Life taught me to be strong, but not with words, not with books, not with people’s advice, but with wounds that could not be seen, with nights that had no morning, with tears I wiped away in secret, and with pain I showed to no one.

How many times I fell, how many times I thought it was all over, how many times my heart told me, “I can’t do this anymore, I’m tired!” But my soul, even shattered, found a reason to rise again.

From the sufferings of life I grew stronger, from my tears I created a river of strength, from the wounds of my heart I learned to live, from the people who left me I learned to stand.

It was not easy to walk forward when I left behind memories that killed me. It was not easy to believe again when those I loved disappointed me. It was not easy to smile when there was a storm inside me, but I did not want to surrender my life to pain, to fate, or to loneliness.

I have walked paths no one knows, I have carried weights no one saw, I have fought battles without witnesses, I have cried in silence, without asking for pity.

And when they ask me, “How did you manage to become so strong?” I do not have much to say. I just raise my eyes to the sky and answer:

Because life struck me, but it did not defeat me! Because it knocked me down, but it did not leave me on the ground forever! Because it took many things from me, but it could not take my soul!

I have learned that not everyone who hugs you loves you, not everyone who smiles at you is sincere, not every hand reached out to you helps you, and not every promise you hear becomes reality.

I have learned not to expect much, not to look for love where there is none, not to knock on doors that have been closed to me, and not to beg for a place in the hearts of those who do not value me.

Because I have a heart, a heart that, even though it is wounded, still knows how to love, still knows how to forgive, still knows how to dream, still knows how to believe in better days.

Maybe I have changed, maybe I do not laugh like I used to, maybe I no longer talk about everything that hurts me, maybe I have become quieter, but that does not mean I have given up.

It means I have understood life!

Today I am not who I was yesterday. Today I have wounds, but I also have experience. I have memories, but I also have hope. I have been through losses, but I have not lost myself. I have known betrayal, but I have not become a traitor. I have known pain, but I do not want to cause it to others.

And if one day you see me smiling, do not think my life has been easy. That smile has a long history, it has sleepless nights, it has hidden tears, it has thousands of reasons to cry, but it also has a heart that decided to live.

I do not ask anyone to feel sorry for me. I do not ask for applause for my sufferings. I do not ask everyone to understand my path. It is enough that I know what I have been through, it is enough that God knows how many times I have prayed in silence, and it is enough that today I am still standing.

Let those who do not know my story speak, let those who have not walked in my shoes judge, let those who do not know how to stay walk away. I no longer have time to lose myself trying to please everyone.

Because from the sufferings of life I grew stronger, from the darkness I sought my light, from every loss I gained a lesson, and from every fall I rose again!

One day I will look back, I will remember all those hard days, I will remember the people who left me, the words that hurt me, the tears no one saw, and I will smile with a heart full of pride.

Because I did not win by not suffering, I won by not giving up!
