Pilo Zyba

Pilo Zyba is a poet, prose writer, fabulist, essayist and translator. He studied Albanian language and literature at the University of Tirana and psychology at the University of Athens. He has been a member of the League of Writers of Albania since 1980.

In 1990 he emigrated to Greece. He was included in the first anthology of Albanian emigrant writing, “Balada e largësive” (Athens, 1995). He has contributed to Albanian magazines and newspapers in Albania, Greece, Britain, Belgium, Canada and the United States. His work has been translated into Greek, English, French and Romanian and has received awards at home and abroad.
