Vasil Premçi

Vasil Premçi was born in Burrel in 1952. He graduated from the Skënderbej Military Academy in Tirana (1973) and later studied philosophy. He is a novelist, literary scholar and translator from Russian. His books include the novels "Livando për qen" and "Fermani i përgjakur" (2018), the story collections "Shiu që lag të gjallë dhe të vdekur" and "Dashuria fle në vesën e barit" (2023), and the essay books "Ah, ky Esenini!" and "Flladi i Berjozave" (2017). His writing appears regularly in Fjala e Lirë.
