I read this article with great attention… for which I express my consideration, and my respect for what is written… and my indignation, regarding the names and vocabulary used, from the materials you have read. We are Albanians and we speak and write Albanian.. but personally, reading the title of the book (*Onomastic Research*), the words *Patronymics*, the book *Onomastic Reflections*, it makes me want to spill my guts when we speak with the language of the Greek and the Serb at a time when we have our own very pure language, but it seems these very book creators do not know it. Gjakova is not a 500-year-old city, and let us leave aside the legends of Ottoman times, but let us delve deeper into the centuries to find the truths… and as soon as possible, Kosovar and Albanian scholars who speak one language should work to say these ONOMASTICS, TOPONYMS, PATRONYMICS with the words of the Albanian language… But also to cleanse them of Slavic as quickly as possible.. preferably at the speed of light… The names of cities and settlements (the toponyms that the scholars you have read write about), Father-namings in the case of (the Patronymics of the book writers), of namings (their Onomastics). You yourself have studied linguistics, you say in your profile that you are an Albanologe and even the suffix -LOGE must be removed.. and the Albanian word must be put in its place… which those who deal with these matters must find… Understand that… we could not become a nation of our true lands 150 years ago, solely due to the lack of our National language, which is why the revivalists revived the written language and left it to us to enrich and cleanse from Greek and Slavic… because that is why the Greeks shout and howl that Skanderbeg is Greek too… because Skanderbeg’s seal located in the museum of Denmark is in the Greek language.. Modern times have brought to the stage a whole river of problems that must be filtered to give and tell the world who we are, where we come from and where we are going.

Here is what Gjakova is to me:

GJAK – KOVA

Blood by the buckets was spilled on your blessed body,

For history to remain eternally written through the centuries.

The blood along your streets cannot be seen,

But its history is read when the visitor steps in…

From the book “The Troy of My Lands”!

To know and find the true history of Gjakova, one must follow the flow of its blood for history, culture and language. Gjakova and Kosova are the Dardania of those men who burned the treason of the treacherous Trojan horse. This deep must the History of its language, of its clothing, of its history, of its creation and its arrival to our days be sought. I do not understand, with what mind, with what fact, with what scholarly merit you want to fill the readers’ minds with Albanolo-gy, where the suffix -GY… in Greek means (earth) : the civilization of Gjakova was not brought by the Ottoman Turkish invader, When before the Ottoman empire the Italian Byzantine Empire came and passed over us, and that the most difficult bridge and the most difficult fortress for the conquest it made later, was the body of Dardanian Illyria. Without its destruction it would not take a single step further.. this is what world scholars and historians say. After them came the Slavic barbarians who did exactly the same thing, and worse than the Italians. How can millennia be skipped and we come to the 15th or 16th century.. where were we before, or must we serve the Greco-Slavic theory that we lived as nomads in the mountains, when history speaks of the Illyrian civilization, just as of the civilization of Rome.

Let us leave the “jokes” aside, titles and degrees are not and should not be part of the tarnishing of national history and culture. Let us leave the suffixes Αλβανολογε, Albano-loge, Τοπολογε, Topo-loge, Πατρολογε, Patro-loge etc etc. This suffix translates into the Albanian language as… Λογε – WORD… and history does not need words, but tangible archaeological works… (even this word is entirely Greek) αρχεο-old and gji (earth) so the antiquity of the earth, of the object that is then connected to the language and the people who lived and worked on it at certain times etc. Suffixes are not a basis and will never be a part of elevating degrees and titles.. the nation does not need degrees, but it needs work and true values, and if we do not have degrees the work speaks, history and the future know how to put the values of everyone’s work in their proper place. Titles have their place for the individual, while national interests are the property of a nation.

The names of cities like Podujeva, Mitrovica, Istogu, Obliqi, Lipjani and dozens of other names of fields, villages, rivers, mountains must take upon their shoulders the history that belongs to them. The name that the Slavs violently stripped from them, and dressed them instead with a scheming name that did not suit our national body and history.. This must be done without fail… then the history of the names, their origin and antiquity can be found… Why in the books of Aleksandër Xhuvani and Eqerem Çabej do foreign words not appear on book covers in a “bombastic” form TOPONYMS, PATRONYMICS and ONOMASTICS… first of all the reader must translate and understand the authors and their language and then seek and find the truth that they try to express in their works… the time has come for the Albanian language to speak with the purity of its flowing source and not with namings in borrowed languages… greetings from London..
