FROM THE DIARY OF A MADMAN
They say somewhere in the Nemur mountain,
A diary was found, left by a madman.
Written and carved in the wall with a knife,
Where madness and criticism thrive.
Often the stanzas, the verses, have no connection betweenthem,
Understandably, a madman has no logic andreason.
You who hoe in the vineyard of paper,
Do not mind the method, but the core of thework.
They say that the great and true God,
Gave us one language in this life.
A common language as a gift,
So we might find harmony among ourselves.
How diabolical you remained, man,
You invented dozens of languages, made dozens of states.
Rise up, please, Pythagoras,
Take this problem into your hands.
Find a common denominator,
To serve for Ramadan and for Easter.
It is true we went to the moon,
But haven't we left much work behind?

At the peak of lust through love,
A single sense gives man as a gift to the world.
Why does he not arrive laughing, but arrives crying,
Since he is planted like a seed out of love
Since he has come into life out of love,
Why does he spread venom and bile whenever he speaks?
Let alone when he rises up and kills!
Who said that man is not,
Like the wolf, the jackal and the bear.
When he lays out tables and banquets,
Does he not add to the killing and slaughtering in the flocks?
This is simple, it requires no wisdom,
Does he not raise a toast over the pain of another?
The shepherd guards the flock from the wolf and the jackal,
Not out of desire, but out of need.
The little guiltless beast,
He needs later for abloodshed.
So today I throw the questiononto paper:
As bloodletters,are they not equal?

Everyone is entertained whenever the clarinet,
Invites and calls us to enjoy life.
No one knows in its trembling voice,
Whenever it shrieks, does it feel the samething?
** *
The glasses rejoice when filled to the brim,
Out of joy they pour out the song, a river.
Whenever we clink them for the toast,
Do you think they do not feel and do not know,
That the wish is not for them, but for the raki?
If they knew it while sitting on the table,
Wouldn't they shatter into a hundred pieces out of spite?

Ah! Nature is treacherous,
When she makes a creature perfect.
In eyes, in stature and in hair,
And finishes the masterpiece with no brains in its head.
For a girl as beautiful as light itself,
Without realizing, sets ambushes for us wherever she goes.
She kills dozens of innocent souls,
And turns them into slaves thereafter.
Because man, by his very nature,
Is not always what his face expresses!

Troy was brought down by just one deed,
Created from his mind by man, thefox.
Times have changed a lot since then,
Today another spring blows and blooms.
The foxes are hidden and lie in wait,
In battle, it seems, only tricks fight!

Thousands of telescopes on the globe's shoulders,
Aimed at the universe like cannon muzzles!
They rush, they search, for a new marvel,
Forgetting that marvels are happening on the ground!?
They seek salvation on Mars and the Moon,
They do not ask if this boy had bread last night?
When his father was killed and his mother was drowned.
He will be an orphan, did they ever ask him?
And they often tell him: “For your future”,
When he has nowhere to sleep in the evening.

Roads open roads, in water, in the atmosphere,
This work is a pointless endeavor every time.
Every head a road, every road an idea,
One road when he wakes, another road when hesleeps
Two thousand years since Christ or Muhammad,
Did they not want, or did they not find, a commonroad?
Keys, locks, padlocks the world is inventing,
To lock away accounts in safes.
Keys in the shape of rubber batons, striking every day,
To lock up mouths, and eyes that speak.
Keys in the shape of handcuffs have launchedprojects,
To lock up thoughts across the five continents.
Openly they multiply the internet space,
Where prostitution speaks in hundreds of languages.
Drugs and drinks find their bloom,
Because they are keys that lock up thought.
What need is there for so many keys and safes
The world has need of only one key.
A single padlock is demanded by the mad,
A padlock to lock up all the leaders!
What did Odysseus do to return to Ithaca?
He sealed his ears with wax and with mud.
So that the voice of the sirens of madness,
Would not change his path toward glory.
But today the method and the siren have changed,
She does not whisper, she has raised antennas.
She comes toward us in many ways
Music, sex and filthy beauties.
So the beehive of the brain might easily swarm,
Drugs, sex, and rhythm were thrown into it.
The rhythm of this dance, the “mad” do not say fornothing,
Will very soonderail us”.

If you look at the map you have before you,
It is in pieces, it is patched and mottled.
It was divided into so many pieces just as a cake is divided,
Out of envy and spite the world became like this.
The butchers rose up with knives and cleavers,
Each to take a part, a piece.
They drafted upon it their secrets, their scenes,
Then they lunged like hyenas.
The great egg “World” with its smooth face,
They snatched hungrily in their hands,
They scratched it and bit it with their teeth,
And turned it into the carcass it is.
Wherever “wise” man puts his hand,
Kisses and caresses turn to gunpowder.
All this greed, hunger and hatred,
Could the rivers and oceans not quench its thirst?

I do not know if Eve everlived!,
In the beautifulgarden where spring,
With a breeze aslight as a prayer,
Tied flowers to thetrees with only a kiss.
I know the story of theplayful apple,
That turned her into asinner.
But first Ilook at the globe,
And I construct andmake the trinomial,
The apple, Eve andAdam,
I think, they were given a bad name fornothing.
When the apple -world, lying in agony,
Is ready todie from millions of bites!

There are puddles of gold beneath hisfeet,
And when he reaches out his hand totake them
You strike him and tellhim: “Sinner”!
You trample him underfootas if he were a fly,
To you his life is just aline.
The table athome is full every day,
When he reaches out totake, you tell him: "wait”,
That is to say,you might as well kill him,
As for yourself, you are born anddie with a full belly,
But his lifesays otherwise:
“Your lifefilled with joys,
Holds within it myshare too”.
* * *
Won't you tell mewhat you are doing, oh God,
Why do you play withanother's pain?
That is a life too, wherever the mule takes you,
Why do you play with theworld, like worry beads?
You made the rose- an open lip,
In its beauty,an uncatchable dream,
When you put thornsall over its body,
How did you not feela little shame!
Or were you thinking of therose's predator,
And put thorns onbeauty, as a shield?
You did the sameagain with the violets,
Fragile inbody, purple on their cheeks.
You poured aroma on them,a bucket of scent,
Then you hid themand thrust them into the bramble.
Perhaps to protectthem from others?
* * *
True, you hold thepower and the might
And you find the double-leafgate wide open,
And painlessly youstrike the world,
Selling little sisterlogic, for five pennies!

You say that nature isto blame,
For giving mantwo faces.
A beautifullook and eyes full of grace,
And a paintedsoul, like a whore.
Ah! Cunning andclever man
Takes a donkey beastin his hands
Puts a bridle and packsaddle on itas a gift
And takes its soulas interest,
Making it workfor him day and night.
He pulls itshalter whenever it brays,
But never put a bridleon his own mouth,
Instead, without restrainthe kills and slaughters everywhere.
Tell meplease after this,
Is the beast orman to blame?
So I came hereand went deep inside,
I carved mythoughts in the cave,
And I am closingmy discourse,
Here all alone, ina forest.
The rolling of theball "world" downhill,
Will find salvation, only from amadman!
