THE BENCH OF WAITING...

I know…you will not come. And every minute flows slowlywith the taste of sorrow. The bench stood silent amidst the golden autumn...I will no longer feelthat hidden heartbeat, for a longing that does not speak, for words that stayed inside, where thoughts are chewed over in silence. The bench and the disappointment stand together.I feel it…you will not come. The pain strikes me like a wave on the shore, returning again and againeven when the sea is silent.I prayed to the moon,I called out to the distant stars, they only watched in silence…And they said to the moon:“Do not be the cause,do not kindle a hopethat cannot survive.”I know…you will not come, spoke the bench in pain,And perhaps there is no point in your coming anymore, because love requires two hearts, not just one waiting. When one gives everything, and the other is silent, weariness comes, disappointment comes…Because love needs water, light, and care.It is a fragile flower…and a little hope, without hands to nourish it,one dayit will wither. And I sit in the company of quiet nature...

THE POSTCARD....

A postcard I would choose today,The most beautiful one for You,And the sweetest greeting for years to come,I would send with a smile in my eyes.A bouquet of flowers I took in my hands,My soul painted right there,I breathed the flowers’ scent into my heart,Your smile became my shelter!

WAITING...

I am like a sun resting above the clouds,I measure my breath by your glow,I bestow a few rays upon the beautiful earth, with the morning dew I stay alive in this place.I become a storm and shake the mountains, the fields ask me, not knowing where to go,the trees from their troubles enliven their thoughts, and the roots hold fast, so they do not wander.I am sea and ocean that cries and laughs,I become one with the waves, with a heart full of life,at dusk and at dawn I sit with my thoughts on the shore,I wait and wait for you to come, to quench the longing that burns me.
